A rugged PC for a rugged environment.

March 11, 2015

The IPC2 range of PCs make an ideal partner for industrial and commercial environments. They have a die cast aluminium body, with a passive cooling fan design, which means no air, along with any dust, dirt or moisture that is blowing around is being drawn in to the machine. So no fan and no moving parts means these ruggised PCs are suitable for the harshest of environments.

Also no fan means, low power consumption, with a TDP of 15W, the power consumption on the IPC2 range is between 6W - 24W. Compare that to an average desktop PC that has power consumption of anywhere between 80W – 300W depending on the set up.

These small units take up minimal amount of space, 19 x 16 x 4cm, weighing in at a low 1050grams, these rugged, small, fanless PCs are ideal for commercial and industrial use.

The PCs have MTTF of over 100,000 hours and come complete with a 5 year manufactures warranty so you can be assured that these devices won’t let you or your customers down.

Using a passive cooling fan design allows the rugged, tiny PCs an operating temperature range in the standard commercial models (with SSD) of between 0°C - 70°C, thus ensuring your PC will keep on performing in the most harsh environments. If you need to use a unit in a cold environment the extended (TE) version operates down to -20°C and if that is not cold enough for you, then perhaps Industrial (TI) model operates between -40°C - 70°C.

The IPC2 range also supports 4K resolution, triple display, dual GbE, Wireless, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, RS232, micro SIM, read the full specs by following this link to our products page
